BEFORE you report - please check the following:

 

No water/blocked drains

If you are experiencing no water or blocked drains, please call SA Water before contacting our office on 1300 729 283 to eliminate a local area issue. If there is a significant water leak or burst pipe, please locate the water meter in your front garden and turn the tap off to stop supply and then call us.

No Power

Is there a power outage in your area? Have you checked your fuse box?

You should always check if there are any outages in your area prior to reporting a power failure as there may be work being conducted in your area.

No Gas

Is there a gas outage in your area or are works being performed? 

Again, please check if there are any outages in your area prior to reporting a failure as there may be work being conducted in your area.

Flood & Storm Emergencies

If the property you reside in has sustained flood or storm damage, please contact the SES for assistance to make your home safe.

Urgent Maintenance Instructions

Please see list below of what constitutes an urgent repair under the Residential Tenancies Act

  • A burst hot water service
  • A blocked or broken toilet system
  • A serious roof leak
  • A gas leak
  • A dangerous electrical fault
  • Flooding or serious flood damage
  • Serious storm or fire damage
  • A failure or breakdown of any essential service provided by the landlord or agent for hot water, cooking, heating or laundering
  • A failure or breakdown of gas, electricity or water supply
  • Any fault or damage that makes the rented property unsafe or unsecure
  • An appliance, fitting or fixture which is not working properly and causes a substantial amount of water to be wasted.
  • A serious fault in a lift or staircase in the rented premises.

All other NON-URGENT repairs must be reported via your tenant maintenance portal.
